TCNJ Lions' Invitational Results

Several members of the New York University women's track & field team produced season-best times at The College of New Jersey Lions' Invitational on Saturday, April 26, in Ewing, NJ.

In the 800 meters, a pair of Violets turned in their low marks. Senior co-captain Beatrix Jackson's time of 2:23.61 left her in sixth place in the event, while freshman Kristin Marshall's career-best 2:26.73 put her in eighth place.

Freshman Natalie Helpern (2:27.38) also produced a top-10 finish in that race.

A season-best time was also notched by senior Jane Wolkowicz in the 5,000 meters. Running perhaps her final race for the Purple & White, Wolkowicz managed a fifth-place finish in 19:51.35.

Freshman Katherine Wang followed right behind Wolkowicz in sixth place (20:03.85).

Sprinter Caitlin Gibson posted a time of 13.17 in the 100 meters, which was good enough for sixth place for the NYU sophomore.

There was no team scoring at the meet.
